Public Conference: September 27-29

The American University Washington College of Law (AUWCL) Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property (PIJIP) convened of the Global Congress on Intellectual Property and the Public Interest. The Congress will take place the week of September 24, 2018.

The Global Congress is the main convening of a global network of over 800 researchers, activists, and practitioners who work on the intersection of intellectual property and promotion of the public interest. The core goal is to promote evidence-based policy-making by fostering partnerships between academics and policy advocates from around the world.

Agenda

The Global Congress spanned six days, beginning with capacity-building workshops and trainings for a selected group of international policy advocates, building to a large public international conference with plenary sessions webcast to the world.
