WIPO, Interpol, the World Customs Organization, the International Chamber of Commerce and the International Trademark Association are will co-host the Global Congress Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy in Paris this coming February. The industry-funded congress first met in 2004, and featured discussions on an international agreement to coordinate enforcement of intellectual property – an initiative that evolved into the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement.
